1. Have everything packed up and ready to go the night before except for your beds and your main television.

1. When moving on super bowl sunday, the cable guy could possibly be the most important person on the planet, so make sure he is at the new place as early as possible. The most convenient time would be while the movers are loading up at the old house, and the new place is a big empty work space. 
2. If possible have step one started immediately after knowing you are moving into your new place, because getting a cable technician to come re-setup your services can often be booked out for days, maybe even weeks.
3. Set proper expectation with the cable tech on what time the television will be arriving so that he can do the wonderful magic they do getting your televisions back online
