PittMovers was founded in 2018 by two passionate professionals, Tino Brockington and Antwan Demery. Our journey began with a simple goal: to make booking home services online easier for people who juggle busy lives and full-time jobs. After all, moving shouldn't add to the stress of an already hectic schedule.
Our Story
Tino had already built a moving company in Virginia before relocating to Pittsburgh. His hands-on experience running his first company gave him the insight needed to create a moving service that was efficient, reliable, and easy to use. Together with Antwan, they decided to combine their skills and expertise to address the challenges that families face when moving—and PittMovers was born.
We knew that moving often comes with unnecessary hurdles: surprise fees, long wait times, complicated booking processes, and unreliable service. So, we set out to create a service that would simplify every aspect of the moving experience—making it more transparent, affordable, and stress-free.
Our Mission
PittMovers exists to make professional moving services accessible and easy for everyone. As part of our long-term commitment to community impact, we are actively developing PittMAP (Pitt Moving Assistance Program), a future benefit program focused on providing moving assistance to individuals experiencing crisis situations.
